Description: On September 20, 2025, Tread Lightly! supported the annual Pickin’ Up in the Pines cleanup event, hosted by the National Forest Foundation. The event brings together volunteers to clean up heavily used recreational areas in the pines near Flagstaff, Arizona, including Lake Mary.

Together 40 volunteers cleaned up over 200 pounds of trash, cleared invasive species from the area, and built three slabs to help prevent picnic tables from sliding into the water.
